When you think about it, this could be our last day as legal singletons! (Bet you can't say that 10x real fast.)
Lest I forget our original children... our first son, Max. May he rest in doggie heaven. If you can zoom on this picture, you'll see that his teeth are truly spectacular. He earned those in his previous life, and was very proud.
He always knew just how to pose for the camera!
And our first (and current) dog-ter, Ruby. At just a few weeks old. Look at that wittle bitty face! Who could resist her??
And now all grown up, chillin with mom in the car.
Though we like to think of ourselves as skilled parents, we may have a little more to learn in the coming months. Turns out you can't drop off kiddos at the kennel for the weekend, let them ride in the car all willy-nilly with heads hanging out the windows, give them a bucket of water outside so they can play in the yard all day, or crate train them. Hmmm... this could be trickier than I thought!

Love the kiddos... the furry ones and not so furry ones that WILL be yours tomorrow! Such a cute family-to-be! Let us bloggy folks know as soon as you get the news! :-D
I'm a firm believer in positive reinforcement so let me be the first to say congratulations, mommy and daddy. May all your dirty diapers be only full of pee, that all food stains come out of clothing, furniture, and carpeting, and that all gum will come out of hair without creating baldspots!!
